Owolasi Joshua.
Mr. Chizzy, probably the most popular fresher here at Covenant University. He is actually a lot more known than you guys can imagine. Last year, he was nominated for Artiste of the Year at the last Campus Heat Awards. So, he was already “rep-ing” C.U. even before being admitted officially… that’s outstanding. He is a very likeable guy and when it comes to music, Mr. Chizzy is good at what he does.

Haggai Plangkat.
Haggai, attended Babcock Secondary School. Surrounded by a lot of elite class students in Covenant, it is no surprise he has a lot of eyes on him. Having a squad with the likes of Chizzy, Dede, DaSilva, Big Sam, and also being involved in a little misunderstanding with fashionista, Oseme Roberts, over an issue that seems to be lady-related (EJ), Haggai is a fresher that has to be on this list.

Sharon Onyemachi.
We at Amebonised do not actually know how or why Sharon is popular. We have sat and given thought to why she is popular and only one name keeps coming… Adedoyin Adelakun (Doyin-@dedoyin_adel). Sharon is like a personality replica of Doyin. Both pretty ladies studying Business Administration, with blown up Instagram pages, the two do have a lot in common. She just stepped into C.U. and had to be noticed.

Dede Seun.
Sir Dede… He is an Archi-student here at Covenant University. Unfortunately for the young man, he had to go home last year because of B.R.Q. issues. Dede had made friends here from last year and is also very popular amongst the freshers, probably because he already knows his way around. He has some popular guys in his squad too- Haggai, Chizzy, Big Sam and DaSilva. So, it no surprise he is on this list.

Drizzy.
I wish we knew his real name. But that’ll probably be a very hard task. We are almost too sure he has forgotten his real name too. His “Drizzy” name is very catchy and has gone viral amongst the freshers. He had an already going music career before joining us here at Covenant. He is probably one of the contenders for next year’s Campus Heat Awards. He seems to be the ladies’ man having one of the Ogwaniche sisters and a certain Precious wrestle for his attention.

We do not know if they are twins or step-sisters but “them sabi show face.” They are nice looking and seem to be a very cool duo. Sincerely, we cannot explain why they are popular. Oh…wait! We believe it could have something to do with their association with two of the most popular Gs…lol.

Eniola Jacobs joined her sister this session in C.U. She is EJ. We believe there is something interesting going on between her and Haggai. Probably, that’s why she is popular. Or is it because of her sister, Adenike… Or the in-law, Evezi…?

Abbey and Success Ben
Ok…these ones are not sisters. Like there is Abbey and then Success Ben. They are just very close friends. One could say partners in crime. They are really just all over the place. We think they are popular because of their affiliation with Ms Kimberly (Kena). We believe Kimberly is sort of like a school mother to these two. They are popular.
